Approximate dimensions, 11 x 11 inches.  This piece has a base color of gold-purple.  Streaky gold and clear glass was cut into marsh grass/animal shapes, and then segmented, and placed onto the purple base.  Tiny bits of glass powders and frits were sprinkled on for added interest.  The laser-cut, brushed aluminum stand was created by a woman in British Columbia.  This piece, with its subtle coloring, would add to any home decor.
